MIT Postdoctoral symposium
The Fundraising Chair of the PDA Association, Davide Ciccarese, in collaboration with the MIT Innovation Office and Venture Mentoring Office, has organized an event where Postdocs can pitch their innovative ideas, win prize money and find collaborations to fast-forward the process that goes from research to startup.
The event will feature all the MIT offices for innovation & entrepreneurship resources: Venture Mentoring Office (VMS), Technology Licensing Office (TLO), Solve, Social Impact and Social Entrepreneurship, The Engine, Career Advising and Professional Development (CAPD), and NSF I-Corps Program @ MIT, E14 fund, Nucleate.

Evening Logistics:

Part one: postdoc pitch
2 slides 2 minutes  + 1 minutes = Q&A
Round 1: 10 pitches
Round 2: 10 pitches

Part two: meet the startuppers
10 minutes inspiration talk from existing startup

Part three: Networking + free buffet

FREE BUFFET: PIZZA, AND DRINKS OFFERED BY THE MIT POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATION (PDA)
