YEM Registration (2020)
Over the last three years, more than 150 students in grades 4-12 participated in Ithaca's Youth Entrepreneurship Market (YEM). The mission of YEM is to inspire Ithaca’s future business leaders through a hands-on learning experience about entrepreneurship. During the program, students learn business startup basics from local entrepreneurs and coaches. Participants experience what it takes to develop an idea into a business, bringing the concept to life at several community youth markets throughout the year.

Cost: $40 - $80 (sliding scale) or email us to apply for a scholarship.
 
Startup Funds & Loan: Students are responsible for the cost of supplies for their businesses. YEM provides training, booth space, tents, tables, chairs, and marketing. Optional startup "loans" of up to $50 are also available.
