Event at the Architekturmuseum (Pinakothek der Moderne) !

This is an interactive visit of the exhibition 'The Gift', which looks into architectural gifting and its implications. It presents 4 stories: humanitarian gifts for Skopje, North Macedonia; gift of land in Kumasi, Ghana; diplomatic gifts for Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; and philanthropic gifts in East Palo Alto, USA. Each of our dialogue sessions reflect on one story at a time.

These dialogues are hosted for participants to visit the exhibition and reflect together; sharing and listening with playfulness and depth. The structure of an event is as follows: after a small welcome at the Greenhouse (next to the main entrance), we start with introductions and icebreakers. Then, we give a contextual ‘tour’ to introduce important themes, concepts, and questions, before having participants visit the exhibition in small groups. Finally, we all gather in a facilitated dialogue circle, where participants share their reflections and build on each other’s ideas and reflections.
