Thank you for your consideration in completing the survey. We are a group of students pursuing Bachelor and Master degrees in Social Work, Public Health, and Communications at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. We are supporting Atherton YMCA programs and services and are interested in exploring how COVID-19 has impacted middle school youth.

This survey aims to analyze how COVID-19 has impacted middle school students and their relationships from the perspective of an educator. This survey is 100% anonymous and optional with no incentives to participate.

This assessment asks middle school teachers to briefly share their experiences, struggles, successes, and needs through COVID-19. The sudden shift in the world around us and in our daily lives has created or exacerbated some of these factors, and we aim to better understand these changes in relation to social isolation during this pandemic. The results of this survey will help the YMCA better understand how young people have been impacted, how they are coping, and what they may need to allow the YMCA to explore and create new opportunities to continue to support our youth in upcoming Spring programs.
