Along with writing and visual art, music is an extremely important and beautiful form of art that transcends language and sight. So we want to hear from you, the community, about the music that has defined who you are today. Show us a song that you cried to after your first break up, show us a song that played on the radio while your parents drove you to your first day of school, show us the theme song from your favorite TV show. We want the big, the small, the happy, the sad, but most importantly, the story of you.

We will compile all the answers into a public playlist on the Paper Crane Spotify account (@papercranejournal) and Youtube account (Paper Crane Journal) and we will add to it on a rolling basis. Please make sure that the song you submit is available on either Youtube or Spotify, or else we will not be able to include it.
