The Bromwell family community is vibrant and joyful, in part because of dedicated volunteers like you! Please take a minute to read through the current Bromwell PTA volunteer needs. To sign up, select all of the opportunities that interest you and click, "SUBMIT". A PTA Board Member or Committee Chair will follow-up to welcome you and provide additional information. Committee and Project Volunteers - select all that interest you!

Annual Fund Committee (Sept-Nov): We are looking for writers, editors, photographers, creative thinkers, graphic designers and mailchimp experts to join our team this year. Fundraising experience is not required!

Annual Fund Co-Chair (Sept-Nov): We are looking for someone to join the committee this year and take a leadership role in 22-23. Fundraising, sales or marketing experience is helpful but not required. Most work can be done at home, in the evenings/weekends. Time commitment varies.

Book Fair/Read A Thon (Jan-March): This team will work with Scholastic and school leadership to plan, set up, and sell books for the book fair as well as distribute read-a-thon charts and prizes. Work with communications team and teachers to share information with the community.

Bromwell Garden (fall, spring, summer): Help with harvesting and weeding in the fall, prepping and planting the garden in the spring and maintenance over the summer. A small number of family plots will be available via lottery in the spring.

Corporate Sponsorship (all year): Work with fundraising team to update sponsorship materials, track donations, identify sponsorship prospects and help with sponsorship appreciation.

Community Engagement (all year): Work with Community Engagement leads and help with various community events throughout the year including coat/food drive, holiday baskets, valentine's market and other social gatherings. A lot of this work is done during the school day.

Family Ambassadors (all year): Be a source of support for a family that is new to the Bromwell community!

Family Directory (Fall): Work with fundraising, community engagement teams and staff to prepare directory using excel, mail merge and word. Work can be done at home.

Fundraising - dineouts and shopping (all year): Help with scheduling dineouts, shop for a cause, and other small scale fundraisers. Follow up on new leads and recruit new business participants. Work with communications team to share details to Bromwell community.

Fun Run and Silent Auction: (Jan-May): Our second fundraising event of the year, and it's super fun! There are so many different opportunities to help on this committee with logistics, prizes, communications, procuring auction items, data entry to name a few.

Membership - Co Chair (ongoing): Assist membership chair with winter recruitment with goal of taking over lead position in 22-23!

Membership - Committee (all year): Update membership materials, write content for communications team, send email updates to members, work with treasurer and secretary to provide reporting to CO PTA.

Middle School Options Night (fall): Coordinate logistics for this fun evening that showcases various middle school options for Bromwell students.

At-School Volunteers (proof of vaccine and quick, free background check required. Details included in receipt message)

Library Volunteers: Check in, check out and shelve books; read alouds. DPS provided training mid-Sept. Proof of vaccine and free background check required. Schedules and signup will follow!

Music and/or Art Helpers: Provide additional help to Mrs. Dean (music) or Mrs. Duffy (art) during their classroom instruction. Proof of vaccine and free background check are required. More details will follow!

Lunch and Recess Helper: Support school staff with supervising student lunches in the cafeteria or outside and recess on the playground (or inside on inside days)
