Matchers MAC Sdn. Bhd. is committed to protecting your privacy. We understand that you are concerned about the privacy, confidentiality and security of any Personal Data that is provided.We will only collect, use and disclose Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, unless required by law to ensure that all justice is served. Any disclosure of additional information will be upon your consent.

1. Consent

By accessing and fill in this Google form, You are CONSENTING to the collection and use of Your Personal Data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. By joining this online matching system or online matchmaking event, You are CONSENTING to the collection and use of Your Personal Data and Special Category Personal Data.You may withdraw Your consent to our collection and use of Your Personal Data at any time. If You have already joined the online matching system or online matchmaking event, You may withdraw Your consent to our collection and use of Your Personal Data and Special Category Personal Data by making a request for Your personal information to be deleted.

To suspend, the requests for suspension or deletion must be made by contacting us using customerservice.matchers@gmail.com. Please note that in order to erase any Personal Data or Special Category Personal Data that we have already collected from You, a request must be made using the process set out in this Privacy Policy.

2. Anonymity

As the nature of the services provided by Matchers MAC Sdn. Bhd. is service-oriented. For integrity principle, You are required to use and provide truth, complete and accurate information during registration for our services. You will not have the option to use a pseudonym. The person is fully liable by providing any inaccurate, incomplete, false and misleading information that might be considered as an offense. Matchers MAC Sdn Bhd will not liable on any offenses of inaccurate, incomplete, false and misleading information.

3. Collection of data

Upon Your registration, as a member, we collect information about You in order to provide and maintain our services to allowing You to enjoy the full benefits of membership. We collect non-identifying information as well as Personal Data from You directly since You first register, and update from time to time thereafter if You provide us with additional information.

Personal Data which may be collected by Matchers Malaysia includes:
(a) Your full name;
(b) Your age
;(c) Your email address;
(d) Your date of birth;
(e) Your gender
(f) Your phone number;
(g) Your suggestion

The information which we may also collect and which may be deemed as constituting Special Category Personal Data includes, without limitation:
(a) Your occupation;
(b) Your hobby and interest;
(c) Your height;
(d) Your residential address
 (e) Your preferences  
(f) A photograph of You;
(g) A scan of your IC
(h) Your weight
(i) Your marital status
(j) Your child if any;
(k) Reason for divorce;

4. Purposes of collecting, holding, using and disclosing Personal Data

4.1 Collect from You only
Where it is reasonable or practical to do so, we will endeavor to only collect Personal Data about You from You.

4.2 Purposes of collecting Personal Data
We will only collect Personal Data that is reasonably necessary for:
(a) enabling us to process Your application for online matching system or online matchmaking event and enabling us to provide services to You
(b) our internal research and statistical purposes (including market segmentation and customer value analysis);
(c) enabling us to forward to You other information or material which we believe may be of interest to You;
(d) enabling a payment processor to process the payment of subscription fees;
(e) enabling us to find a possible suitable partner for You

4.3 Use and disclosure of Personal Data
We shall only use or disclose Personal Data by providing Your Personal Information provided above to Your possible match. Any other disclosure of material to other Third Party will be upon Your consent. Any sharing of information to Third Party without our consent will be considered a violation of our privacy policy and we reserve the right to take legal action against any Third Party who has violated our Privacy Policy. In the circumstance where there are any OFFENCES AGAINST LAW OF MALAYSIA, we will Disclose Your Personal Information to the AUTHORITIES WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.You may withdraw Your consent to our use of Your Personal Data by referring to clause 1. Consent.

If You disclose Your Personal Data to any other Third Party whether by accident or without going through our social channels. In those circumstances, Matchers Mac Sdn Bhd shall not hold any responsible for Any Other Damages or Legal Offense.

4.4 Information not confidential
Any material or information provided by You will be treated as NON-CONFIDENTIAL and NON-PROPRIETARY and we may use such material or information WITHOUT restriction. Specifically, Matchers MAC Sdn. Bhd will use such material or information (including any profile information, photographs, video or audio recordings) that You have provided to us into the matchmatching system operated by Matchers MAC Sdn Bhd. Any such material or information provided by You will be MADE AVAILABLE for other members or users of the system to read.

4.5 Communication
We reserve the right to send electronic mail to You regarding recommended matches, notification alerts of activity such as interest alerts or message alerts, promotions or offers, changes or additions to our services, or any products and services of our affiliated businesses.

4.6 Retention of Information
We reserve the right to retain Your Personal Data as long as it is necessary to provide the services requested by You and others, subject to any legal obligations to further retain such Personal Data. Your Personal Data will generally be kept until You request Your Personal Data to be deleted in accordance to Clause 1. Consent. Additionally, Matchers MAC Sdn Bhd. May retain Your Personal Data to comply with the Law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, and take other actions permitted by law. Your Personal Data retained are handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Finally, Your Personal Data could also be stored for statistical purposes.

5. Offenses against Law of Malaysia or Unexpected Accidents
Matchers MAC Sdn Bhd is RELEASED FROM ALL LIABILITIES relating to any injuries to the physical body, mental health, financial, property or any accidents and offenses that may occur. Upon registration, You AGREE to hold Matchers Malaysia entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence or accidents. You also ACKNOWLEDGE the risks involved in a face-to-face meeting with the matched person, regardless if it is arranged by Matchers MAC Sdn Bhd or done privately in between You and the person. In circumstances, where an offense, injury or accident is convicted, Matchers MAC Sdn Bhd will disclose Your Personal Information according to clause 4.3 Use and Disclosure of Personal Data.

6.  Definitions
"Collection" means the acquisition of Your Personal Data.

"Personal Data" means any information relating to an identifiable natural person ('data subject'); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person and includes Special Category Personal Data.

"Process" means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

"Special Category Personal Data" means personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, Your criminal record, genetic and biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning Your sex life or sexual orientation.

"Third Party" means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data.

"You" means the individual about whom we are collecting Information.

“Matchers MAC Sdn Bhd” means the company registered under SSM with the incorporation code of 1322562-V, and all its directors, shareholders, employees and partners.
