UM SPH DEI Community Read: Viral Justice Book Request Form

Dr. Ruha Benjamin will deliver a lecture at the University of Michigan on March 14, 2023 to discuss her newest book, Viral Justice. Ahead of her visit, the SPH DEI Office will provide a limited number of hard copy books as well as e-books and audio books to the SPH community on a first come, first serve basis. All SPH faculty, staff, students, and post-docs are eligible to request a book. If you are not able to obtain one of these books, the e-book is also available through UM's library. The book can also be purchased from local and national retailers. You can view the book trailer or read the book description for further detail.

In addition, the SPH DEI Team will host two reading circles (one virtual & one in-person) for the SPH Community to discuss the book in preparation for Dr. Benjamin's campus visit. We invite all members of the community (students in all programs, post-docs, staff, & faculty) to take part in these collective reading and discussion opportunities. Use this link to register for one or both of the reading circles.
