BHA Member Survey on Homeowners Insurance 
Insuring our homes in Brentwood has become nearly impossible.  State Farm will cancel 62% of their policies in Brentwood in July and August.  Chubb, Safeco, Travelers, Mercury, Farmers and PURE are either declining to write new policies or demanding homeowners take steps to defend their homes from fire or risk non-renewal.  The only sure option is that of the last resort--the California Fair Plan with limited coverage.

In an effort to assess the impact of this insurance crisis and engage our elected officials' help in addressing it, we need information.  Please complete this brief survey.  We understand facts may change, so we will be sending it around again each month to compare results.  Thank you for your participation.
