ELBA is here for the community as we all face the challenges of COVID-19 together. We are working with our member companies to respond to the needs of our community partners and the east Londoners that they support, by creating remote opportunities for business volunteers, providing employment services for local residents and developing a relief fund for community organisations.

1. Remote strategic advice and support:
COVID-19 is presenting many of our community partners with a series of new challenges across different business functions. Employee volunteers are available to provide you with advice and guidance that will assist you to overcome these challenges.There is the opportunity to access pro-bono advice on business continuity, finance, communications, HR, IT or any other business area.

2. Remote Pro-Bono Legal Advice:
We are aware that many of our community partners may be unclear about the legal implications of the disruption to services as a result of COVID 19. 3. The ELBA Toolkit
ELBA are working with our members to adapt the delivery of The ELBA Toolkit so that our community partners can access the expertise of employee volunteers remotely. We will develop capacity building seminars in several business functions, providing you with the chance to learn from industry professionals. Details of sessions will be sent in the coming weeks, but we would like to hear from you about your specific needs. Please outline below in the box which skills in particular you and your staff are in need of.

4. Telephone Befriending:
As part of the Isolation Reduction project, we would like to reach out to community organisations who work with older service users and offer befriending through our volunteers. Calls will be organised via ELBA's conferencing facility so no personal contact information is exchanged. Calls will be moderated by an ELBA member of staff (DBS checked) to cover any safeguarding issues.
If you are supporting service users that might benefit from telephone conversations then please let us know.

1. A digital platform to help you select new career paths:STAY NIMBLE is a new and exciting digital career coaching platform that has been developed to help job seekers gain insight into new types of work based on their interests, strengths and preferences. The platform includes a strengths-based assessment, matching facility to local job opportunities and access to career coaching.

2.The ELBA employment team has access to a number of apprenticeships and job opportunities which may benefit your service users. We also manage specific projects to support Hackney and Tower Hamlets residents. If you work with unemployed or underemployed job seekers and would like to receive ELBA's Vacancy tick the box below
