Birthday Party Request Form
Celebrate your child’s next birthday at the Museum; let us host your birthday child and guests. (Ideal for children ages 2-12 years.) 

NOTE: THIS FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE A RESERVATION. ONLY AN INVOICE GUARANTEES A RESERVATION.

The base fee for a party is $650, and $520 for members at the Friends and Family Level and above, and includes up to 30 guests*. Additional guests are $15 each, up to a maximum of 40 guests.

Please note:
  • At least one adult for every 10 children is required.  Adults that attend the birthday party must be present at all times.
  • Refreshments, decorations, paper goods, and party favors are not included in the party fees.
  • Decorations must be limited to table-top décor and cannot be attached to the walls or ceilings.
  • Alcoholic beverages of any kind are prohibited.
  • Glitter, confetti, balloons, and candles are not permitted in Museum spaces.
  • You must book food accommodations through our café (Aux Delices.) At this time no outside food vendors are allowed. Once your party is booked Aux Delices will provide information about available food packages.

Birthday Parties include:
  • A guided scavenger hunt in the art or science galleries led by a museum educator.
  • Hands-on art or science  activity in the Cohen Education Wing led by a museum educator. (Materials included)
  • Private party room in the Cohen Education Wing.
  • Parties can be scheduled on Saturday or Sunday, for morning (10:30AM - 12PM), afternoon (1PM - 2:30), or late afternoon (3PM - 4:30PM) (subject to availability.)

A signed agreement and a deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to book your date. Cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance to avoid forfeiture of deposit. If a cancellation is made a week prior to the party date, there will be no refund of the deposit. The remaining balance is due day of  the event; late payments may result in the termination of your event and a forfeiture of deposit.
