YES! Saturdays Volunteer Interest Query
YES! (Youth Empowerment Services) Saturdays are traditionally from 1pm-4pm for 2 months. We are investigating if we have enough volunteers to run the program Saturdays in October and November (ending November 19th) 2022. We need a diverse team of skilled volunteers to make the program truly excellent. Please consider volunteering in any one of THREE capacities: FULL TIME (most of the 7 weeks), PART TIME (4 weeks or less) or ONE TIME (leading a Wildcard! activity). You can even simply sign up to provide a snack for one Saturday or serve in another unique way. Thank you, we're excited about your consideration!

Interested in the following FULL TIME volunteer team: *
Every week during the program, the kids will have ongoing academic instruction that can best be described as STEAM-based, creative problem solving. We've named this class "Mission Impossible." If you are a person who loves math, logic, science, word problems, etc. this is the team for you!  Art (which could include drama, dance, visual art, etc.) and sports to the kids each week. Volunteers skilled in all these areas are needed. Our ideal scenario would be having a bilingual (English/Spanish) YES! volunteer present each week.

Every week, different members teach a Wildcard! class. In the past, this has been anything from board breaking to planting flowers. Providing a snack or generally helping program operations can also be done on a one time basis.
