YWCA Central Maine is very excited to announce an upcoming pilot program: Ready Together! This program has been specially designed to provide one New Mainer parent and one or two children (ages 2 – 5) an opportunity to experience an early learning classroom, while also providing the parent an opportunity to practice English conversation with a native English speaker. Details of the program:

The program is completely FREE

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this pilot program has modified. We will provide kits to immigrant and refugee women with young children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old.

Kits include:
parent and child activities to help children succeed in kindergarten;
English Language Learner materials and out-of-home child care information for mothers, so they may pursue education and work opportunities.
