CONNECTING STUDENTS TO CAREERS
Health care workers often return to practice where they trained, and students learn from experience that it’s rewarding to work in under-served areas. That’s why we connect young people and students to training opportunities with minority and disadvantaged populations, in rural areas such as the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

CONNECTING PROFESSIONALS TO THE COMMUNITY
Our programs in Geriatric Assessment, Dental Health, and HPV are just a few of the many quality, diverse and affordable educational opportunities we offer healthcare professionals on the Eastern Shore. In addition, ESAHEC recruits healthcare providers to serve as clinical preceptors to students considering a career in rural health. A win for everyone!

CONNECTING COMMUNITIES TO BETTER HEALTH
Rural areas such as the Eastern Shore face health resource challenges that often lead to disparities in health outcomes. Through our work training Community Health Worker professionals, to our partnerships with local health and social service agencies, we mobilize resources to help close the gaps in health.
