PAYMENT & DELIVERY
• Payment is required before delivery. Bookings are not secured until invoice is paid in full.
• 💦WATER!!!💦 Please water/soak your yard in the days before delivery. Soft ground is necessary for installation. Unsure if you need to water? Try the "screwdriver test." Stick a screwdriver into your lawn. If it easily goes in all the way, you’re good to go. If you have to push hard or use a hammer, PLEASE WATER. (We cannot stress this enough.)
• No need to be home during delivery or removal - we will install your greeting quickly and quietly in the best location for aesthetic and installation purposes.
• If your greeting is a surprise for an address other than your own, please notify someone in the home we will be on property for setup and take down, possibly late after dark or early before sunrise. Our signs are meant to be fun surprises - for everyone’s safety, we want to make sure we don’t scare anyone! If requested, we will leave a note on the doorknob with the sender’s name so the recipient will know who sent the greeting.
• Due to the unique nature of each order and number of orders per day, we can’t guarantee a specific delivery/pick up time. We only guarantee delivery within the window specified on your invoice.
PERSONAL INJURIES & DAMAGES
• Please do not move our signs; only Sign Gypsies representatives are authorized to handle our inventory. Contact us if you need the signs removed early and we will assist you ASAP. The renter is responsible for damage caused to our signs/stakes if an attempt is made to relocate/remove them.
• Please protect our inventory from damage caused by pets. The renter is responsible for replacement/cleaning costs, should damage occur.
• Please pause all lawn maintenance and turn off sprinkler systems while the sign is in the yard. Lawnmowers, weed-eaters and automatic sprinklers can damage our signs, and grass clippings will stain. The renter is responsible for replacement/cleaning costs, should damage occur.
• Neither Sign Gypsies nor its representatives are responsible nor liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup or removal of any rental.
• We encourage you to pose next to the display for photographs, but for the safety of everyone, please do not touch, lean on, or play near the display. Our items will not safely support weight or pressure. We will not be held liable for injuries or damages that occur.
• All signs are property of Sign Gypsies, the customer is responsible for any damages/replacement charges.
PHOTO & ADVERTISING RELEASE
• We may photograph your yard greeting and share it on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.). If you prefer we don’t, no problem! Just let us know.
• We will place a small ad sign with our logo and contact information along with the greeting. This sign is unobtrusive, acts as a trademark of our work, and indicates ownership of our property. Please do not remove the ad sign.
REFUND POLICIES
• In case of weather conditions threatening the safety of our personnel or inventory, we will cancel deliveries. We are happy to reschedule your order, or we will issue a full refund.
• We do not issue refunds if we are unable to install your sign because the yard is too hard/dry. We appreciate your understanding, as we invest time and labor in your order by preparing our inventory to your specific requests, driving to the delivery location, and attempting installation for at least 20 minutes. We will make every effort to install your sign, but a hard, dry yard can make that impossible. If we must abandon installation because of dry ground, we’ll do our best to arrange a second installation time after the yard has been thoroughly watered. There is a $45 return fee for a second installation attempt.
• No refunds will be given due to the renter giving us an incorrect address.
• No refunds will be given due to denied access to a gated community.
