St. Joseph Farmers' Market 2024 Application
Welcome to our 24th season!  This summer season: 23 weeks from Friday, May 10 through Friday, October 11.  Membership fee: $75 (deadline February 28).  [For applications received after February, membership fee goes up to $85.] Stall fees: $15/market day.  We ask you to check market dates that you will attend and list all items you plan to sell.  This will help us review applications and plan our marketing efforts.  Looking forward to a strong season with a mix of returning and new vendors!

Please describe your inspections and plans for refrigeration.  Write n/a if you are not selling meat, dairy or eggs.  Dairy products for sale at a farmers’ market must be pasteurized (exception: aged cheese) and processed in a properly licenses (if off-farm) or permitted (if on-farm) dairy plant.  No dairy products may be sold under the cottage foods exemption.  Dairy products must be held at 41 degrees or colder at all times.  Eggs: Must follow MN Rules on egg handling, and keep egg at 45 degrees or lower at the market.  Any meat (including poultry or rabbit) sold at a farmers; market must be processed under inspection at either a USDA or Minnesota Equal-To plant.
