Volunteer Arrival: 6:30 PM
Parade Start: 7:00 PM

Volunteer Requirements (Both Events):

✔ 18+ years old & completed required training
✔ 2m radio with earpiece (high power) & extra batteries
✔ Notepad & pen/pencil for quick notes
✔ UCARES safety vest, clean & professional attire
✔ Weather protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
✔ Hydration & chair for waiting periods (Fireworks event)

Additional Notes:

  • Expect a noisy environment—earpieces are mandatory.

  • Assignments will be communicated before the event.

  • Volunteers represent Orem Public Safety—professionalism is key.

  • Dinner may be provided—confirmation pending.

  • Have fun while ensuring safety & supporting communications!
