This will be a logout to keep our saw skills sharp, and a training mission. My plan is we work as 2 chainsaw teams, leapfrogging up the Divide trail (which splits the Mueller loop essentially in half and, as far as I know, is not regularly maintained). At the top we split. One team will head east and clear down to where we will have left cars at the east end of the Mueller loop. The other team will head west, clearing back down to the main trailhead where we will have parked. We won't worry about the long flat stretch at the bottom.
Most of the logs are on the Divide trail. If we finish those and the day is getting late, then we scrap the idea of the teams wrapping around the west and east sides and just go back down the Divide. There are only a few logs on the wrap around parts, so we would be doing that partly to clear those, and partly to help us get even more fit for the backcountry season.
Anyone is welcome to come even if not a sawyer. We can always use more people to help carry supplies, lop stuff back, toss branches, maybe do some quick tread repair in places, and all other miscellaneous work that defines making a trail nice to hike.
