We will review submissions as they come in. We will reach out to you within 2 weeks of submission if selected to move forward with an in-person audition. The in-person audition will require a short song and some sight reading.

MEMBERSHIP EXPECTATIONS
Oregon Repertory Singers rehearses every Tuesday night from 7:15 pm - 10:00 pm at Portland State University. We begin rehearsals the last Tuesday in August and continue until the beginning of May.

At-a-glance season will include:

All-day retreat - early September (Sat)

Fall concert - late October - (Sat & Sun)

Winter concert - early December (Sun, Sat & Sun)

Annual Fundraiser Soiree - late February (1 weekday night)

Spring concert - late April (Sat & Sun)

Performances will be at First United Methodist Church (Portland) or The Reser (Beaverton).

Rehearsals for the week leading up the concert will be at the venue and may be on additional nights.

Members are asked to pay annual dues of $200 (sliding scale dues arrangements are available), and to pay costs for wardrobe. If you are invited to join the choir and you have concerns about any expenses. Please know we will work with you to ensure you can participate regardless of financial means.

Song selection can be an opera aria, art song, Broadway song, or folk song. It can be a cappella, accompanied by piano or even a karaoke track from YouTube.
