Teen Candle Making Workshop
*This program is geared specifically for teens in the 7th-12th grade (age 12-18). If you fall outside of this range, please check out our other program offerings at <calendar.prattlibrary.org/events> for Kids and/or Adults. Thank you for helping us to give teens a safe & comfortable place at the library online!*

Part 1: Digital Candle Design, Saturday, May 1, 1:00-2:00pm
Part 2: Candle Molding Workshop, Saturday, May 22, 1:00-2:00pm

(Part 2 signups are welcome regardless of Part 1 participation; we will provide a mold with your supplies.)

In part 1, we will use Tinkercad to design a 3D plastic mold for a candle. These molds can be customized with patterns, words, and even image files. (No experience is necessary.)  If you live in Baltimore City, the Teen Center will 3D print your mold at no charge.

Before part 2, we ask that participants pick up a supply bag from a Pratt branch of your choice. We will demonstrate how to create candles using the mold.

*You will need access to a tablet or computer and a web connection. (3D design on a cell phone is not recommended.) Chromebooks, tablets, and hotspots can now be checked out from the library.*

Discord invitation links will be sent by e-mail following registration.
