Conditions of Hire:

NO alcohol, cigarettes or drugs are to be brought onto, or consumed on, the premises.
●
The area(s) used must be left as found i.e. desks and chairs must be left in the configuration they were found in.
●
The premises are to be left clean and tidy. If further cleaning has to be undertaken the Hirer may be charged at a rate of $60 per hour.
●
Posters, decorations and advertising material are not to be attached to buildings or internal paintwork and must be self-supporting.
●
Costs of repairing damage incurred by the Hirer will be met by the Hirer.
●
Costs incurred through setting off alarms which incur costs to the school, will be passed on to the hirer for payment.
●
The School assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged goods or items belonging to the hirers and guests while on School Property.
●
The Hirer acknowledges that HGHS staff may need to work in or around the area(s) used by the Hirer and the Hirer shall allow HGHS staff access to carry out their tasks by prior arrangement. This will likely relate to the field or gymnasium.
●
The Hirer shall meet WorkSafe, Health & Safety and first aid requirements and shall accept liability for any accident that may occur to any person attending the Hirer’s event or activity. HGHS shall not accept liability or responsibility for any duty of care for any person involved in the Hirer’s event or activity.
●
The Hirer acknowledges that it has read the conditions of hire and agrees to abide by them.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
●
Termination of agreement by either party can be made in writing with six weeks’ notice.
●
Subletting is not permitted.
●
Keys will not be issued. The Property staff/Allied Security are responsible for opening and closing buildings in use.
●
An invoice will be generated 7 days before hire and must be paid in full prior to the event/activity taking place
