As we look ahead to next year, course options and specialty programs, the Phys-Ed Department would like to make you aware of the Sports SHSM program.  The specialist high skills major (SHSM) program provides students with a focus in their senior high school years that is open to all pathways (apprenticeship, workplace, college, university) where students will have an opportunity to explore experiential learning and reach ahead activities including free field trips, certifications, guest instructors and training.  Upon completion of the program which includes a collection of 9 courses (co-op included) a special red seal diploma will be presented at graduation.

The application process is simple and starts in grade 10 for a program that is in Gr. 11 and 12.  With the support of our HCDSB pathways consultant and our school guidance department and administrative team, we are excited and proud to be the only Oakville Catholic high school that will be offering this SPORTS SHSM program.
