Voices of Praise Liturgical Choir & Orchestra Registration

Thank you for your interest in joining the Voices of Praise Choir at St. Bede's.

General Information:
The choir rehearses on Fridays from 7:15-8:30PM.
The orchestra rehearses on Fridays from 6:45-7:45PM.

We sing on Sundays 10:30AM Mass (10AM warm-up) & Holy Days such as Christmas & Triduum.
This is a great opportunity to grow in faith through Sacred music. As St. Augustine says, "Singing is praying twice!".

Choir Requirements:
-A willingness to serve God through music.
-Should be able to sing in tune. Musical background & prior choral experience is preferred, though not required.
-Able to generally commit to Friday rehearsals & Liturgy commitments.

Orchestra Requirements:
-Proficiency in instrument.

Registration Process for new choir members:
For initial registration, please complete this form. 

After, our Choir Director will be in contact with you to setup an initial meeting.
At the meeting, we'll do some singing, go over choir schedule, and logistics.

Mandatory Screening for Volunteers:
If accepted into the choir, all new volunteers are required to undergo a background check & fingerprinting per the Diocese of Oakland policy.
