2022 Student Advisory Council Application
District 1 Board Member Dr. George J. McKenna III is convening a Student Advisory Council (SAC), comprised of at least 1 student from every LAUSD Board District 1 high school. The council will meet on a monthly basis to discuss matters being considered by the Board of Education, and of concern to students on their respective campuses, giving students the opportunity to share their feedback, opinions, and ideas directly with their school board member.

The student representatives serve as ambassadors for their school and are responsible for communicating updates to the rest of the student body.

For the balance of 2021, the SAC will be virtual. The following meetings will be held through Zoom from 5 to 6:30 PM. The format for future meetings will be determined based on the latest guidance from health officials.
