DNV-GL is the world’s leading classification society and is also the largest technical consultancy and supervisory to the global renewable energy (65% of the world's offshore pipelines are designed and installed to DNV GL's technical standards), with its Energy business headquarters located here in the Netherlands.
The lecture will be focused on 3 areas of the company working in the power sector, including topics such as NextGen Grid Operation, future of Smart Metering, new technologies of high voltage towers and earthing design for a substation. We will also have the participation of a former TU Delft student sharing her experience at DNV-GL as a Sustainable Energy Technology graduate.
The presentation will be held through MS Teams so everybody is welcome to participate.
