Physical Training Program

We are excited to announce the launch of an after-school Physical Training program for our  community starting in November 21st. In this program, Coach Kareem will focus on providing kids with agility training, teaching them how to develop grit, and helping them understand the connection between being a good student and a good athlete. Each week, the class will include drills and teamwork-building exercises, with an emphasis on playing various sports.

Coach Kareem
Head Trainer Kareem Dennis played collegiate and Professional Football. His knowledge comes from NASM and and sports performance seminars from various organizations. He works with DC United Academy and various High School teams in the northern Virginia area. He is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels reach their full potential and achieve their goals through speed and agility training. He also trains mindset and effort. A dedicated athletics coach, he operates out of the Sterling Community Center and local high schools. His passion is to work with underprivileged youth and help them reach their full potential. He is the founder of the non-profit, Torch Sports Performance Training.

- Cost: $25 per child per week, $200 total.

If you're interested in enrolling your child, please let us know as soon as possible. We plan to finalize registrations this week and open registration to other children. I hereby give my permission for my child(ren) to participate in the Noble Garden Academy's Physical Fitness Program. Participation in any program which involves physical activity exposes the participant to certain risks and dangers. Accidents and injuries are always a possibility, and it is impossible to foresee and protect the participant from all conceivable dangers.

I hereby affirm that my child(ren) has/have no conditions that would make it unsafe for him/her/them to participate in the Program organized by NGA. 

I understand and acknowledge that I am responsible for reviewing the CDC's health and safety guidelines and ensuring that I and my child(ren) follow those protocols.

I understand that the Academy may exclude my child(ren) from the Program in the event that I or my child(ren) fail to abide by the School’s health and safety protocols, disrupt, impede or interfere with the operations of the Program, or threaten the health, safety or welfare of other participants or Sterling Community Center's staff, and that no refund of any fees will be made in such circumstances.

I understand that the Academy will make every effort to contact me in the case of an emergency. I give my permission for the Academy to administer any medications needed and to provide and arrange for and consent to any necessary medical treatment for my child(ren) while at Sterling Community Center, including onsite and offsite emergency care. I accept responsibility for the costs of all such medical treatment.

I understand that the fees are due by the first day of the program and are non-refundable.

By signing this Waiver and Release of Liability, with full appreciation of the risk involved, on my own behalf and on behalf of my child(ren), I hereby voluntarily release and forever discharge the Academy, its trustees, officers, teachers, employees, agents, insurers and contractors from any and all legal or financial responsibility for any personal injury, disability, illness, damage, medical expense or death, arising from or related to my child(ren)’s participation in the Physical Fitness Program. I agree, for myself and my child(ren), not to make any type of legal or equitable claim on the Academy, or any of its trustees, officers, employees, agents, insurers or contractors with respect to any injury I or my child(ren) may suffer, whether or not it arises through the negligence, omission, default or other action of anyone affiliated with the Academy, including other participants. I further agree that if any such claim is made, I will indemnify and defend the Academy with respect to any such claim, injury or damage.

Photography Release *
 In consideration of child(ren)’s participation at the Program, I hereby grant permission to the Academy, staff and affiliates to utilize my child(ren)’s appearance, performance or voice in any and all manner and media for the purpose of promotion, reporting or publication. I understand that no royalty, fee or any other compensation of any kind shall become payable to me by reason of such release and use of any photograph.
