Rossford Schools will provide transportation to ONE alternative address. If this form is not completed, the district will assume your child will be riding the bus each day to and from the home residence / bus stop.

A. An Alternate Transportation form must be completed.
B. Forms must be sent / dropped off to the Transportation Department prior to August 10 to assure it gets reviewed before the start of the year.
C. With social distancing guidelines in mind, alternate transportation will be based on bus capacity and route availability.
D. Parents/Guardians will receive a letter by mail or email with a start date for alternate transportation approvals.
E. Approval is not immediate. The process may take up to five (5) days to complete.
F. Alternate transportation must be consistent week-to-week. Any form of transportation will need to be to the same Monday through Friday each week. For example, Jane Doe can be picked up Monday – Wednesday and ride the bus home Thursday and Friday.
G. Parents/Guardians may request a different AM and PM drop off/pick up.
H. Court ordered shared custody will be accommodated, but only on a weekly basis (e.g., one week with mom, next week with dad). Please submit a copy of the court order and a calendar with the Alternate Transportation form.
