Kirkinriola Parent's Questionnaire

All families in Kirkinriola Primary School are part of our community, and we want to make our community even better. The Kirkinriola PTA organises events to raise money for the school and bring everyone together. The money we raise helps make school better for all kids.

We want to hear from you about what really matters to you, the events you like and where we should concentrate our fundraising efforts. Please take a few minutes to fill out this questionnaire for the PTA Committee.

We would love to hear your thoughts or feedback.

Last year we raised over £10,000 for the school. This money went towards outdoor learning areas, resources for the school, transport for class trips such as the panto and general maintenance. We also updated the grounds with plants (you may have noticed the fabulous daffodil display). We also supplied the seasonal treats for our children such as the selection boxes at Christmas and Easter eggs.

With education funding cut by the government, budgets are very tight - we therefore receive numerous requests from the school for financial support. This leads to challenges on which requests should be prioritised. 

We want to ensure that even if budgets are cut, we can support the school and our children in 2024, 2025 and beyond, making sure they have the best experience in their young lives.

As parents your views are critical to us to help guide which requests are supported. 

In the interest of transparency, we have noted the 'wish list' requests from our teachers.

Are there any other areas that that you’d like to see the PTA provide financial support to the school?
The PTA relies on the support of Parents and Teachers volunteering their time and energy to make events and activity happen. From helping at a single event to becoming a full Committee member there’s lots of ways to get involved.

Would you be interested in joining our active volunteers list? This way, the committee can easily reach out to you for event support whenever needed.

Are there any other ways you can support the committee? E.g. Raffle prizes through your work, a venue you can offer, sponsorship from your company, baking for events (e.g. traybakes for a coffee morning). etc.
