For the past 12 years, Hold My Heart Foundation has worked to provide needs for families with a child in the NICU. These include gift cards for food and gas, clothing, car seats, and books. The foundation started as a way to remember and honor Alyssa Rutherford, James and Danielle Rutherford's firstborn. Alyssa was born at 29 weeks and lived for 11 days. The 5k Virtual Race is a way to celebrate the last 12 years and raise funds for 2022 to continue providing needs families may require during a NICU stay.

A virtual race is one that can be completed at any location! You can run, walk, jog, or any combination at the gym, on a track, or outside.

All participants will receive a shirt and water bottle the week of 8/28. We have sizes S - XL.

Our event starts the week Alyssa was born as a way to celebrate her life and raise funds for the foundation. The event will start Sunday, August 28th and end Sunday, September 4th. There will be a Facebook page to share pictures and updates. The link for this Facebook page will be shared to the email provided for registration.

Early registration is from 7/11 - 8/8 and is $25. After that, registration is $35.

Once you complete this form, check your inbox for an invoice to pay for your fee. Registration is paid through PayPal (holdmyheartfoundation@yahoo.com) or Venmo (@hmhfoundation). Cash can be accepted if local to Hawaii. If registration fee is not paid at the time of registration, an invoice will be sent to the email provided within 24 hours.
