SPE Young Professionals Congress - Mentor Application

Ideathon Mentor Commitment

We are looking for experienced professionals to help mentor our ideathon teams. Teams are made up of YPs and Students who will work together to build a proposal to tackle sustainability issues in the industry.

These teams will need Mentors to support to help guide and develop their ideas. A brief training will be done to Mentors ahead of the event.

All Mentors should have:

- Previous or current experience in a SPE Board
- Minimum 5 years of working experience
- Positive attitude towards sharing experience and know-how to Young Professionals
- Good leadership and team-working skills

Time Commitment:

- Two half Saturdays for Kick-off, Pitches and Awards (6th and 13th November)
- 2 or 3 half-hour meetings with the Team during the week for the Elaboration Phase
