Welcome to R.J. Fisher Middle School!
All 6th grade students take four core academic classes: Math, English, History, and Science. They will also be enrolled in P.E.
6th graders can choose between the following options for their Elective class (CHOOSE ONE ONLY):

Art, Coding/Intro to Computer Science, Dance, & Skills for Adolescents.
Students in the wheel will cycle through each of these courses during the school year.(Each course is one Quarter in length.)
2. CHOIR - This is a year-long course.
3. BAND - This is a year-long course.
Sign up for Band if you are interested in Open Band or Concert Band.
Band instruments are; flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, bari sax, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, baritone, tuba, percussion. Piano and guitar are not part of band class (but I encourage piano and guitar players to pick a band instrument and join!)
4.STRINGS - This is a year-long course.
Sign up for Strings if you are interested in Open Strings or Intermediate Orchestra.
The string instruments offered at Fisher include: violin, viola, cello and upright string bass.
