Tobacco Farm Life Museum Internship Application
Please fill out the below application in order to be considered for the Summer 2024 Internship, made possible through a grant by the Mid-West Tool Collectors Association.
The internship will be an active, hands-on project with it's chief focus on the historic trade of blacksmithing and will intimately acquaint you with the museum's tool collection. Our resident blacksmith, in our combined shop and teaching space, will introduce you to the forge,  teach you the basic introductory skills of the blacksmith, help answer questions, and point to further research materials to expand on the subject's evolution and social history.
