All retreats formally begin at the venue at 2 pm on Friday and run through checkout time on Sunday afternoon. Retreat participants are strongly encouraged to attend the entire retreat. This helps them, as well as the other participants at their retreat venue, get the most out of the experience.

Location: There’s something special about spending a vacation along ocean shores that feature astounding ocean horizon views and white sandy beaches. It’s serene tranquility away from day-to-day hectic routines, which is why Rocky Point was chosen as the perfect Retreat destination. The Rocky Point area is on the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, which is only about 60 miles from the Arizona border.

Please note that you’ll need a passport or card to cross the border. Costco and Walgreens are probably the cheapest and easiest places to go for photos! Here’s a list of places where you can submit the application in Maricopa County:

Venue: We will be staying at the Casa Blanca Condominiums in building D. We have secured a condo and a penthouse that can house up to 6 couples, and if necessary, we can arrange additional condos within the same building. Room assignments will be determined based on the order of payment receipt. We may consider changing to a larger condominium if one becomes available.

Carpooling: Transportation is the responsibility of the attendees; however, we will assist in organizing carpooling or caravanning for those who wish to travel with fellow attendees. On Friday, April 26th, we will depart from the Mesa/Phoenix area by 9:00 a.m. If you are flying in and require a ride to Rocky Point, please take note of the carpool departure times. It's worth noting that there are limited flights available to the Mesa/Gateway Airport, which is just a 10-minute drive from my home. The drive from Phoenix, AZ, to Rocky Point is approximately 4 hours.

Cost & Registration: The cost of ASA Now’s 8th annual retreat will be around $200 per couple with the final amount depending on the number of participants. Each couple will receive their own bedroom. The Retreat package includes 3 days and 2 nights of lodging. Additional expenses, such as transportation, insurance, activities, and meals, are the responsibility of each attendee. It's important to be aware that attendees will be responsible for two breakfasts, lunch (either bring your own or purchase on the beach), and two restaurant dinners. Additionally, we kindly request each couple to bring a $20 gift for our gift exchange and an item per attendee that reflects something special or unique about themselves to share during breakfast.

Optional Activities: We have planned some optional activities, including a Sunset cruise ($25), Banana boat ride ($10), and a 30-minute Massage ($20).
