As we meet in Budapest’s Museum of Ethnography we will be confronted by the reality of an era that is passing but an equal reality of an era that is not yet born. Mark Sayers describes this time as the “grey zone.” As Miroslav Volf has commented: “We minister in a time of great tension, economic, cultural, political and ecological.” How will the church witness at this moment in history? How will our uniting together speak and demonstrate the possibility of rebirth? Our council is a place for connecting, collaborating and challenging one another to embrace the opportunities that this change of era brings.

COUNCIL FEE

+ The council fee includes accommodation for 3 nights, meals from Wednesday dinner until Saturday lunch, coffee breaks, Friday afternoon ministry visits, and the use meetings rooms and equipment.

+ Please choose the type of room you would like to have accommodation in.

+ If you would like to share a room, please enter the name of the person you would like to share with in the box 'Other'

+ Please note: Your registration will be considered complete upon payment of the council fee.

+ Please note: Council fees will only be refunded if a written request is received at the EBF office (admin@ebf.org) before the registration deadline. An administration fee of 50 Euros will apply to all cancellations. We regret to inform you that cancellations made after the registration deadline will result in loss of the entire conference fee.

+ Extra nights for those coming earlier or leaving later cost 72 (economy) or 89 (superior) euros per night for a single room and 84 (economy) or 106 (superior) euros for a double/twin room.
