Iti Iti (Teeny Weeny) Show

The Iti Iti (Teeny Weeny) Show is a vibrant celebration of local artists as they express their creativity.

This event welcomes all artists who live or work in the Rotorua region to share their unique visions. Simply purchase your 76.2mm by 76.2mm / 3x3 Inch canvas for $3 from The Arts Village and fill out the online registration form to submit your artwork. Each canvas will have their own magnifying glass that will be attached to artwork at the exhibition opening. To access the registration form, please visit our website. This document provides essential information for artists submitting work for the Iti Iti (Teeny Weeny) Show in March 2025. To ensure proper identification of your artwork during delivery and installation, complete the Schedule of Works (found on Page 4 of the Terms and Conditions) and attach it on the delivery dates: Wednesday 19th or Thursday 20th February between 10am to 2pm.

Brief: Works submitted to Iti Iti (Teeny Weeny) Show
  • Can be created out of any medium, however ephemeral or organic materials with a propensity to decay or to attract insect pests will not be accepted.
  • Maximum of three works per artist. 
  • 2D works must be ready to hang and must measure 76.2mm by 76.2mm / 3X3inch in size.
  • 3D works must be safe and stable for display and must measure 76.2mm by 76.2mm / 3X3inch and up to 76.2mm for the third side; more information about these guidelines for 3D works on page 3.
  • All works are to be original, can not infringe upon NZ copyright laws and are the work of the artist entering. 
  • Price restriction for affordability is no more than $90, which must also include a 25% gallery commission.
  • All works are to be for sale.
  • Only 90 canvases for the Iti Iti (Teeny Weeny) Show
  • The show is open to any artist working, studying, or living, in the Rotorua region.

Important Dates
  • Art and Registration hand in: Scheduled delivery dates Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th February between 10am to 2pm
  • Opening Event: 7th March, 2025, 5.30pm - 7pm
  • Exhibition Dates: Friday 7th to Saturday 29th March, 2025
  • Artwork Collection Dates: After 29th March during opening hours by 2pm
