2024 Resilient Pastoral Leadership Application
Thank you for your interest in the Resilient Pastoral Leadership Mentoring Experience!

This mentoring group is for women senior leaders and has been formulated around the topic of resilient leadership. Participants will be placed in a mentoring group with 2-6 other mentees and a group mentor who has pastoral leadership experience. During this six-month program, you will be given access to resources that will help you grow as a senior leader. You will also participate in monthly Zoom/Google Meet calls with your mentoring group to discuss various topics. Our hope is that these mentoring groups can also become a source of community, support, and friendship for the participants.

As a participant in Resilient Pastoral Leadership mentoring, you will be expected to dedicate 3-5 hours each month going through resources and prep work provided so that you are prepared to contribute to group discussion during the mentoring Zoom/Google Meet call. The more you prepare for discussion, dedicate time to applying the content to your life and ministry, and participate in the conversation, the more you will benefit from the mentoring program.

Topics covered around the theme of resilient leadership in this mentoring group include:
The importance of people - sharing our stories and creating a community map
The importance of practices - rhythms, rest and differentiated leadership
The importance of purpose - discerning what we are called to and clarifying our desires

Expectations of Participants in Resilient Pastoral Leadership Mentoring:
  • Complete assigned prep work before mentoring sessions. The earlier you do it, the more you will be able to think through the material to benefit from the discussion.

  • Attend a monthly Zoom/Google Meet with your mentoring group, usually around 90-120 minutes.

  • Participate in conversations, apply what you are learning and let us know how it’s going!

  • Maintain the confidentiality of the group. All women are encouraged to share openly in group discussion and likewise maintain the trust of the group by not sharing things others have disclosed in the group.

  • Payment of $300 to your mentor before the Month 2 meeting date. The funds go directly to the women serving as mentors. (You may choose to ask your church if there are scholarship funds available to you for mentoring.)

  • Provide us with your feedback at the conclusion of the mentoring program.

This mentoring group begins in June 2024 and finishes in November 2024 .
