2024 CSMA Summer Art Camp High School Volunteer Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for CSMA's onsite Summer Art Camp programs for 2024!  

Camp volunteers are essential to a fun, creative camp experience and we look forward to having you join us. Volunteers assist our camp programs by providing classroom support for art camps, from preparing materials and explaining lessons to working with individual students and supervising campers during breaks.  Training is provided and volunteers gain valuable skills in facilitating an engaging learning environment.

All of our summer art camp programs take place at CSMA Finn Center in Mountain View, including the mandatory camp aide training meeting.

Volunteer Shifts:
  • Session 1: June 10 - 14
  • Session 2: June 17 - 21 (4 days, no camp on June 19th)
  • Session 3: June 24 - 28
  • Session 4: July 8 - 12
  • Session 5: July 15 - 19
  • Session 6: July 22 - 26
  • Session 7: July 29 - August 2
  • Session 8: August 5 - 9
Shift Options:
  • 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (6.5 hours, 0.5 hour break) Supporting day camps
  • 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM (6.5 hours, 0.5 hour break) Supporting day camps and After Camp
Please note:
  • Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
  • All camp shifts are Monday - Friday. Volunteers must be available every day of the session.
  • Volunteers must be available for a minimum of one full week session throughout the summer.
  • Volunteers must be able to attend the onsite mandatory Camp Aide Meeting for essential program training. There is no online alternative for the meeting.      
  •         Mandatory Camp Aide Meeting: Saturday, June 8th, 2:00 - 4:00 PM
  • Volunteers must provide notice of emergency absence by 8:30am on the day of their shift. 
  • Once confirmed, if volunteers need to cancel a full week shift, volunteers must provide a minimum 72 hours notice. 
  • Volunteers who do not provide adequate notice of absences will not be eligible for future volunteer opportunities.
  • Volunteers are provided with letters recording their hours and verifying their contributions for community service and other service projects.
