HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO WATCH

PERFORMANCE TIPS – This video begins with key instructions for filming and ends with Conductor Ryan Heller walking you through key aspects and moments of the score.

THE CONDUCTOR VIDEO – This is the video you will watch while you record yourself singing. It begins with a Visual Countdown, followed by 4 beeps, followed by a Click Track & Pitch Reference leading into the start of the song. The track will be accompanied by an image of the score with Ryan there to conduct you.

HERE'S THE EQUIPMENT YOU NEED

• A Phone/Camera (set to film horizontally) to RECORD
• A Laptop, iPad or Tablet for PLAYBACK
• Headphones, which you must plug into your PLAYBACK to prevent sound from leaking from one source to the other.

You will STREAM the Conductor Video as you RECORD yourself singing. When you are done, you will UPLOAD the video as indicated below.

When you are well-rehearsed, well-lit and ready to go, put on your headphones, start the Conductor Video, and get ready to record!

HERE'S HOW & WHERE TO UPLOAD YOUR FINISHED RECORDING

1. REVIEW YOUR VIDEO
• With headphones on:
Listen for audible noises you may not have noticed
Check to be sure your sound level is not too soft or too loud (distorting)
• Look to be sure you are well-framed and well-lit
• Re-record if necessary

2. NAME YOUR FILE:
FOR SINGERS: “Part Sung_First Name_Last Name”

3. UPLOAD IS NOW CLOSED
