Bahamians, Birds, & Botany
Are you a current 11th or 12th grader interested in science? Are you interested in developing your leadership?Do you like to explore outside? Then, apply for a free and exciting community citizen science (CCS) training! Learn from Bahamian scientists and conservationists how to identify and collect data on essential birds species, gain conservation leadership skills, and to engage the community.

October 7th, Friday: 6:30-8:30 PM | Dinner Meet & Greet

October 8th, Saturday: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM | Birds & Botany Overview, CCS-eBird and Photography, Fieldwork

October 9th, Sunday: 5:00 PM-8:00 PM | Birding and Leadership Clinic

October 10th, Monday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | Fieldwork, eBird Team Challenge, and Certificate Celebration

The training will be October 7-10, 2022 at various locations and times (see above). Transportation will be provided on Saturday because the program will travel to multiple sites. However, you will need transportation to and from the meeting/ending site locations all four days. Can you attend all four days? *
