18-19 Title I Parent Involvement Survey
Title I is a federally funded program to benefit students in schools that have 35% or more of their students qualified for Free and Reduced Lunch.  Belton Elementary is a Title I school. The goal of Title I is to increase the amount of and quality of instruction and to provide opportunities for Parent and Family engagement with the school.

Belton Elementary School does its best to offer opportunities to involve parents in school activities and also as partners in the educational process of their children. Please complete this parent survey to assist us in determining what kinds of activities have worked well, what activities need to be improved, and what additional activities should be included.

1. Parents are given the opportunity to be involved in the planning, review, and improvement of the school's Title I plan. *
2. The school plans an annual Title I meeting (at convenient times for parents) to explain the Title I program and its requirements. *
3. The school provides and explains students' test results to parents. *
4. The school explains to parents the curriculum, the testing program, and the standards students are required to meet. *
5. The school offers regularly scheduled events and meetings during which parents may give suggestions to the school and share learning experience. (For example: Open House, Title I Meetings, Family Nights, etc) *
6. The school provides timely responses to parent suggestions and questions. *
7. The school offers parent involvement activities and materials that assist parents in helping their children with school assignments.   *
8. The school staff reaches out to, communicates with, and works with parents as equal partners in the education of their children. *
9. The school involves community organizations and businesses in parent involvement activities. *
10. The school responds to parents' suggestions by offering and designing appropriate parent involvement activities. *
11. Information that the school sends home to parents is easy to understand and in a language that parents use in the home. *
