CARE: We work with our local reptile care specialists to develop Herp Care Standards per species. Will you support our efforts to help every herp thrive and implement the specific animal setup, heating and water, and dietary needs we provide for the reptile/amphibian species you are interested in fostering?

FEEDING: Relinquished animals will come with their current setup and then we use donations (if needed) to update the setup to our Herp Care Standards to ensure a thriving animal, however it is on the foster to help cover the costs of feeding the fostered animals, are you able and willing to support the costs of feeders for the foster?  (*we are working on discounting this with select pet stores)

VET NEEDS: We do our best to ensure rescued animals are healthy or can have be supported to regain maximum health standards with proper diet and setup but occasionally animals will need additional reptile vet support. SDHS will cover the veterinary costs needed, but are you able to provide vet visits and treatment if required for a foster?
