Thank you for your interest in supporting the #SDG16Now Campaign, hosted by the TAP Network. The campaign provides a number of exciting opportunities to advocate, connect, and mobilize to accelerate action on SDG16+. Leveraging a consultative process with a broad range of stakeholders, we plan and develop a suite of priorities and actions at the national and international level.

Given the desire to further mobilize campaign partners and garner ownership of the campaign messaging, in 2024, the SDG16NOW Campaign will adopt a cross-sectoral and clustered approach that works in an interactive way to allow partners to connect, share and learn, while engaging in collective mobilization and advocacy. Drawing on the core concepts inherent to SDG 16, we will organize ourselves along five different Campaign Clusters: Peace, Justice, Inclusion, Institutions, and Interlinkages & Financing. These Campaign Clusters will serve as a space for SDG16Now Campaign Partners to develop campaign priority messages–identifying roadblocks and opportunities in actualizing SDG 16.

Beyond this, there are many ways to become involved in campaign activities--by supporting communications and engagement, advocacy efforts, and support in translation and events organizing. Co-chairing/leading thematic cluster groups for #SDG16Now Campaign

Outreach, Communications & Engagement: This team will develop engagement toolkits, materials for social media and digital communications, and any additional communications materials we decide to put out (like a press release or conference, articles, etc.)

Translation (English to other UN languages): In our organizing, we produce advocacy documents that sometimes needs to be translated quickly.

Events: Tasks include support for organizing side events and other mobilizing opportunities for members.

Bilateral advocacy: Strategizing and arranging bilateral meetings with member states and relevant intergovernmental institutions to establish SDG16NOW Champions, preparing and agreeing on agenda at the preparatory meetings

Collective advocacy: Supporting intervention and/or statement preparations, recommendations, key messages, language proposals for official documents.
