Release of Liabiity Waiver
Volunteer Safety
Safety is a top priority for our organization. We frequently use heavy equipment such as forklifts, and electric power jacks. Large vehicles come and go throughout the day. Large heavy materials are unloaded and loaded throughout the facility. To ensure your safety and the safety of others, all volunteers are required to complete a Safety Orientation before beginning any volunteer activities. To prevent accidents and injuries, volunteers must wear closed toe shoes, pants and work clothes at all times, pants must pulled up, shoe laces tied. Excessively loose clothing that could catch on materials can’t be worn. No one is permitted to use headphones, ear buds, hands-on or hands-free phone devices at any time while volunteering in any work area.
Safety glasses, gloves and instruction on proper use of tools and equipment will be provided.
Safety is our highest priority while carrying out activities anywhere in the organization.
