FY 2024 Project Grant - Application
The Kent Cultural Alliance (KCA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The Kent Cultural Alliance serves the residents of Kent County supporting and creating equitable access to artistic and cultural experiences designed to connect communities through shared conversations.

It is the vision of the Kent Cultural Alliance that all residents of Kent County engage in important civic and social conversation using artistic and cultural experiences as a conduit for connection.

PROJECT GRANTS are reviewed internally on a rolling basis until funds are depleted. KCA will limit Project Grants to one per organization, per year, as funding allows.

Project Grants are available to community based organizations in Kent County, Maryland that are producing an arts related project.  Project grants will not be awarded to any political or advocacy events/programs, nor expressly religious events/programs. Project Grants will not be aware to sponsor fundraising events, galas, etc. Project Grants can be used to support public community events.

For FY2024, Project Grants will be limited to no more than $1000 per grant, and cannot cover more than 50% of the total budget for the proposed project.  Project Grants are rolling and will be awarded as they come until there budget is used (if you have a spring 2022 event that you will be requesting funding for - do not wait until April to request it.)  This will enable KCA to use State and Federal funding to ensure the widest possible access to the arts throughout the county. Community engagement will be a key factor in evaluating all grant applications.

DEADLINE - There is no deadline for project grants. The process is rolling and active until budgeted funding runs out in any given fiscal year.
