STAC Sprint Application
The fourth SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog Sprint will take place at Planet Labs in San Francisco, on June 4th-6th. The goal for this one is to shift from just working on the specification to truly sprinting on software and data. We will aim to put up more data as STAC Catalogs, and to expand the STAC ecosystem of software and tools. Special attention will be given to fleshing out 'extensions' that expose new types of data in STAC Catalogs. There will also be some dedicated work on the spec itself, ideally guided by learnings from the concrete sprint groups.

Space is limited, and we will be prioritizing attendance from those who have concrete experience with either STAC or exposing large scale geospatial data catalogs online. But we do aim to bring in new community members, so are also prioritizing those who commit to working on bringing more data into the STAC ecosystem.
