It's that time of year again where we select our new committee. This year we’re creating a new committee with between 2-4 of the previous committee members and 1-2 new people.

If you are passionate about the SUGSA community and would like to serve on the committee, this is your chance to apply. However, before doing so please:
1. Read through what is expected of committee members (below)
2. Familiarise yourself with the voting process to follow (below)
3. Select 1 of the 2 information calls to join (selection at bottom of form)

EXPECTATIONS OF COMMITTEE:
1. Willingness to dedicate substantial time and energy to committee activities
2. Attend monthly SUGSA meetups (specific to your region)
3. Attend weekly/monthly SUGSA committee meetings as and when necessary (both face to face and remotely)
4. Work collaboratively to get stuff done (organising various SUGSA events, such as the Meetups & the Scrum Gathering)
5. Be involved in major decision making & honor decisions taken where you were not able to attend
6. Be objective, honest and behave with integrity – not using the position for personal benefit or advantage at the expense of the community
7. Act only in the best interests of the SUGSA community & committee
8. Enthusiasm and interest in the SUGSA community
9. Serve a 12 month term as part of the SUGSA committee

THE VOTING PROCESS:
1. Applications close normally around the month of May. 
2. All applicants will be expected to join a call in which we will share some more detailed information on what can be expected 
3. Voting opens to the SUGSA community around June
4. Voting closes middle June
5. New committee announced end of June
