Boston College: 2019-20 Field Instructor Course Registration
BCSSW offers educational support for the development of both new and seasoned supervisors. The Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) is encouraged for new field supervisors, offered free of charge by BCSSW at 16 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). 100% attendance is the MA NASW standard for receiving CEU credit, with 80% acceptable under extenuating circumstances.

Additionally, due to ongoing space constraints on campus, this year we are offering two sessions of the Field Instructor Intensive, a day-long 5 CEU workshop free of charge to you. The Field Instructor Intensive is an abridged version of the SIFI that will cover the basics of supervision.

The New England Consortium of Graduate Field Education Directors (NECON) collaborates on the development of this seminar.  If you are unable to attend the seminar at Boston College, you may take one offered at another New England school of social work. For a complete schedule please visit the NECON website at: http://www.neconsortium.com/.   Contact each school directly to register.
