America House Chisinau is inviting high school and university students aged 14 and up to send an original short video, describing a famous African American who inspired them (musicians, sportsmen, actors, writers, scientists, politicians, journalists, historical figures, presidents, inventors, business people, etc.).

The videos could explain how the participants were inspired by the African Americans they had chosen to describe. All the video descriptions will be posted on America House Chisinau YouTube channel and website www.americahouse.md in a public video gallery, and shared on America House Chisinau's social media pages.

Video Criteria :
✅ Videos must be 2 - 3 minutes long.
✅ Videos must be filmed in a horizontal format!
✅ The video must be appropriate for all ages.
✅ The use of commercial content is forbidden (music, video, animation).
✅ The video must be original, developed by students.
✅ Participants can use one of these recording methods: Animoto, Loom, Screencastify, or submit a short movie filmed with a cell phone or video camera.
✅ Technical requirements for videos: good quality of Lighting, Sound, Editing.
✅Videos must be submitted in a video file format (MP4 or AVI). They will be posted on America House’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpJ6RPRSfvRUVPRfc58mgew )
