As a Parent Cooperative, your volunteer hours are an integral part of the overall function of our school. Each family is required to volunteer a minimum of twice a month in your child's class, join one committee of your choice and come to 2 out of our 3 Saturday work days. As regular volunteers in the classroom, you are also required by the state licensing department to have 18 hours of training per calendar year.  This can be done by attending parent meetings, coming to orientation, participating in online webinars and even reading journal articles about child development, play-based learning, developmentally appropriate practice, etc.
