♟️*FULL* Chess (Mondays & Wednesdays at 5-6pm PDT)
Course dates: July 7 - August 20 (7 weeks)

Course Description: This course is designed for players of all levels. Students will be split into small groups on Zoom based on skill level - beginners will learn piece movements and simple tactics, while intermediate and advanced players will dive into strategy, openings, and live matches.
🧠 Psychology (Saturdays & Sundays at 4-5pm PDT)
Course dates: July 5 - August 23 (9 weeks)

Course Description: In this introductory psychology course, students will explore the basics of how people think, feel, and behave. Students will learn about topics like emotions, the brain, memory, and why we make certain choices. Lessons are interactive and age-appropriate, with stories, examples, and discussions.
🇨🇳 Intermediate Chinese Writing (Fridays & Sundays at 4-5pm PDT)
Course dates: June 29 - August 1 (6 weeks)
Recommended Student age: 4th-7th Grade

Prerequisites: Can perform basic reading and writing in Chinese
Course Description: This course is for students who are looking to improve Chinese fluency. We will explore the basic sentence structures, the usage of idioms/proverbs (成语), and more concepts that enhance your writing skills. The course will be taught in a mix of English and Chinese.

Course Description: In this introductory chemistry course, students will explore topics like atoms, molecules, states of matter, and simple chemical reactions through clear explanations, visuals, and interactive discussions.
🧮 Algebra 1 (Tuesdays & Thursdays at 3-4pm PDT)
Session dates: July 15 - August 7 (4 weeks)
Recommended Student age: Middle School
Course fee: $8
Prerequisite: Completion of Pre-Algebra or a strong understanding of operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and integers
Course Description: This course is designed for students looking to get ahead or strengthen their algebra skills before the school year starts. Students will explore core Algebra 1 topics including solving linear equations and inequalities, graphing on the coordinate plane, working with exponents, and understanding functions.
🧬 Biology (Tuesdays & Saturdays at 6:30-7:30pm PDT)
Course dates: July 1 - July 23 (4 weeks)
Recommended Student age: Elementary & Middle School
Course fee: $8
Course Description: In this course, students will learn about the living world around them — from plants and animals to cells and ecosystems. Classes are interactive and beginner-friendly, with hands-on activities, fun facts, and plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion.
